{"id":17866,"date":"2017-10-15T09:13:15","date_gmt":"2017-10-15T16:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/?p=17866"},"modified":"2025-05-28T13:38:08","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T13:38:08","slug":"3-chicken-recipes-for-your-crockpot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/3-chicken-recipes-for-your-crockpot\/","title":{"rendered":"3 Chicken Recipes For Your Crockpot"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Buffalo Chicken Bowls<\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients<br \/>\n\u2022\t2 cans black beans<br \/>\n\u2022\t3 avocados, diced<br \/>\n\u2022\tA pint of cherry tomatoes, halved<br \/>\n\u2022\t6 chicken breasts<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 cup buffalo sauce<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 tbsp. garlic, minced<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 packet Greek yogurt dressing \u2013 dry seasoning<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 1\/3 cups plain Greek yogurt<br \/>\n\u2022\t3 tbsp. almond milk<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n\u2022\tCook chicken, garlic and hot sauce to slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 hours or on HIGH for 3 hours.<br \/>\n\u2022\tWhen chicken is cooked through, shred it and set aside.<br \/>\n\u2022\tIn a separate small bowl mix together your Greek yogurt dressing, Greek yogurt and almond milk and stick it in the fridge.<br \/>\n\u2022\tDrain and rinse black beans and add them to a bowl, then add tomatoes and avocado, topping with chicken, and topping off with Greek yogurt ranch mix.<\/p>\n<h3>Sweet-N-Spicy Chicken<\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients<br \/>\n\u2022\t2 lbs. chicken breasts<br \/>\n\u2022\t1\/3 cup honey<br \/>\n\u2022\t1\/3 cup coconut aminos<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 tbsp. chili garlic sauce<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bd tsp. sea salt<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bd tsp. black pepper<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 tbsp. sesame seeds, for garnish<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n\u2022\tPlace chicken into the bottom of crockpot.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMix remaining ingredients together in a bowl then pour over chicken.<br \/>\n\u2022\tCook on LOW for 4 hours.<br \/>\n\u2022\tRemove chicken and pour sauce into a sauce pan.<br \/>\n\u2022\tSimmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has reduced to \u00bc the amount.<br \/>\n\u2022\tPour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds.<\/p>\n<h3>Chicken Philly Cheese Steaks<\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients<br \/>\n\u2022\t2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 cup low-sodium chicken broth<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bc tsp. salt<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bc tsp. pepper<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bc tsp. garlic powder<br \/>\n\u2022\t\u00bc tsp. paprika<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 large (or 2 small) bell peppers, sliced<br \/>\n\u2022\t1 medium onion, sliced<br \/>\n\u2022\t2 cups sliced mushrooms<br \/>\n\u2022\tsalt and pepper to season the bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms<br \/>\n\u2022\tSprouted grain buns<br \/>\n\u2022\tSwiss cheese<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n\u2022\tPlace the chicken breasts into a 4-quart or larger slow cooker, and pour over the chicken broth.
