So, we\u2019ve come up with some easy, delicious recipes that won\u2019t even make you think you\u2019re trying to lose weight!<br \/>\n<strong>Cilantro Lime Slow Cooker Chicken<\/strong><br \/>\n<i>pictured above<\/i><br \/>\nServes 4-6<br \/>\nIngredients<br \/>\n\u2022 1 24 oz. jar of organic salsa of choice<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/2 cup freshly chopped cilantro<br \/>\n\u2022 1 package of low-sodium taco seasoning<br \/>\n\u2022 1 lime, juiced<br \/>\n\u2022 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts<br \/>\n\u2022 2 jalapenos, chopped (optional)<br \/>\n\u2022 Gluten-free tortillas (for serving)<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n1. Add the salsa, cilantro, taco seasoning and freshly squeezed lime juice to your slow cooker. Mix them together.<br \/>\n2. After mixing them, add the chicken breasts.<br \/>\n3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours. Shred with fork before serving.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15477\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line.jpg\" alt=\"blog-divider-line\" width=\"620\" height=\"60\" srcset=\"https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line.jpg 620w, https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line-300x29.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Slow Cooker Beef Stew<br \/>\n<\/strong>Serves 6<br \/>\nIngredients<br \/>\n\u2022 1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cubed in about 1-inch pieces<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp. whole wheat flour for coating the beef<br \/>\n\u2022 3 c. vegetable broth<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tsp. salt, divided<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00bd tsp. black pepper, divided<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp. grapeseed oil<br \/>\n\u2022 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped<br \/>\n\u2022 1 clove garlic, minced<br \/>\n\u2022 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed<br \/>\n\u2022 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced<br \/>\n\u2022 2 celery stalks, coarsely chopped<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00bd c. diced red peppers<br \/>\n\u2022 2 bay leaves<br \/>\n\u2022 1 (14-ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n1. Coat beef with flour then shake off the excess then sprinkle \u00bd teaspoon salt and \u00bc teaspoon black pepper.<br \/>\n2. Over medium heat, in a saucepan with grapeseed oil, brown the floured beef then pour in 1 cup broth.<br \/>\n3. Cook until sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Transfer the beef and its sauce to the crock pot.<br \/>\n4. In the crockpot, add onion, garlic, potatoes, carrots, celery, red peppers, bay leaves, 2 cups broth, tomatoes, and the remaining \u00bd teaspoon salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high 4 &#8211; 6 hours.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15477\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line.jpg\" alt=\"blog-divider-line\" width=\"620\" height=\"60\" srcset=\"https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line.jpg 620w, https:\/\/landing-uat.thedolcediet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/blog-divider-line-300x29.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Chicken Teriyaki Salad<br \/>\n<\/strong>Serves 2<br \/>\nTeriyaki Sauce:<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00bd c. low sodium soy sauce<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tsp. honey<br \/>\n\u2022 1 clove garlic, minced<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00bd tbsp. arrowroot starch<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tbsp. water<br \/>\nSalad:<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tbsp. sesame oil<br \/>\n\u2022 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced<br \/>\n\u2022 1 red bell pepper, diced<br \/>\n\u2022 1 c. cubed pineapple<br \/>\n\u2022 2 heads Romaine lettuce, chopped into bite sized pieces<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n1. Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. 2. Combine arrowroot starch and the water in a small bowl until arrowroot starch is dissolved and add to the pot. Boil for about 30 seconds and turn off the heat.<br \/>\n3. Make the sauce by combining the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan with \u00bc cup water. Bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with the water and add it to the pot. Boil for 1 minute and turn off the heat.<br \/>\n4. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned. Add bell peppers and pineapple and cook until warm and slightly softened. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until heated through.<br \/>\n5.
