Rest is part of the program! So here are some tips to help you get a better night\u2019s sleep so you can keep making <strong>GAINZ<\/strong>!<br \/>\n<strong>1. Avoid Alcohol<br \/>\n<\/strong>You\u2019ll wake up constantly throughout the night while it is metabolizing.<br \/>\n<strong>2. Stop Smoking<br \/>\n<\/strong>The nicotine acts a stimulant, which will make it that much harder to fall asleep if you have one before bed.<br \/>\n<strong>3. Reduce Your Sugar Intake<br \/>\n<\/strong>Sugar raises your blood sugar, which tells your brain it\u2019s good to go instead of letting it settle and rest.<br \/>\n<strong>4. No Caffeine Before Bed<br \/>\n<\/strong>Obviously this is best reserved for throughout the day, but try to avoid it at least 2-4 hours before bed. Opt for chamomile tea instead to relax you.<br \/>\n<strong>5. Limit Your Water Intake as Bedtime Approaches<br \/>\n<\/strong>Staying hydrated during the day is great, but start to taper it as the evening sets in, otherwise you\u2019ll be up constantly to use the restroom.<br \/>\n<strong>6. Reduce Your Salt Intake<br \/>\n<\/strong>Excessive salt can dehydrate you, making sleep harder to come by.<br \/>\n<strong>7. Don\u2019t Eat Too Close to Bed Time<br \/>\n<\/strong>It is best to give yourself about 2 hours between your last meal and attempting to fall asleep.
