Here are some reasons you should try almond milk:<br \/>\n\u2022 It\u2019s lactose-free, which makes for easier digestion, even if you aren\u2019t lactose intolerant<br \/>\n\u2022 Cholesterol-free (great for those on Heart Healthy recommendations)<br \/>\n\u2022 High in B-vitamins and Vitamin E<br \/>\n\u2022 Offers 30% of daily calcium needs and 25% of daily Vitamin D needs for improved bone health<br \/>\n\u2022 Great source of Omega-3 fatty acids (healthy fats)<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimal glycemic impact on the blood<br \/>\n\u2022 More nutrient-dense than cow\u2019s milk (less calories per cup with more nutrients)<br \/>\n\u2022 Doesn\u2019t require refrigeration<br \/>\nNow, almond milk is not a cure-all. While it does have many nutrient benefits, it will not totally replace the nutrients found in cow\u2019s milk.<br \/>\n\u2022 Almond milk does contain less protein than cow\u2019s milk and isn\u2019t suitable for those with a nut allergy.<br \/>\n\u2022 Be sure to avoid the highly sweetened versions.
