Mix well.<br \/>\n\u2022\tPour the marinade over the steak and turn to coat.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMarinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour up to 24 hours.<br \/>\n\u2022\tAfter marinating, turn the oven to broil and set the rack to the top position.<br \/>\n\u2022\tBroil the steak for 6 minutes, flip, broil 5 more minutes for medium.<br \/>\n\u2022\tLet rest 10 minutes. Cut the steak into slices and serve with guacamole, fresh cilantro and lime wedges.<br \/>\n\u2022\tStir in salsa (of choice \u2013 mild, medium, hot) to brown rice to give your typical rice dish a kick!<\/p>\n<h3>DESSERT<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Pride-of-Mexico-Popsicle-.png\" alt=\"Pride of Mexico Popsicle\" width=\"384\" height=\"153\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13595\"><strong>Pride of Mexico Popsicle (Green, White, &amp; Red)<\/strong><br \/>\nLime Stripe<br \/>\n\u2022 juice of 4 limes<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tsp stevia, to taste<br \/>\nCoconut Stripe<br \/>\n\u2022 1 cup coconut milk<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tsp stevia to taste<br \/>\nStrawberry Stripe<br \/>\n\u2022 about 10 large strawberries<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n<strong>Green Layer<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Place the lime juice in a glass measuring cup.<br \/>\n\u2022 Stir in the stevia to dissolve, and then add enough water to make 1 cup.<br \/>\n\u2022 Pour the lime juice about 1\/3 of the way up into each of 10 popsicle molds.<br \/>\n\u2022 Freeze the molds until the layer is almost frozen solid, then remove and place a stick into each mold, anchoring it into the lime layer.<br \/>\n\u2022 Return the mold to the freezer and freeze until completely solid.<br \/>\n<strong>White Layer<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Whisk together the coconut milk and the stevia until smooth.<br \/>\n\u2022 Pour the coconut milk into each popsicle mold, filling it another 1\/3 of the way.<br \/>\n\u2022 Return the mold to the freezer and freeze until completely solid, about 2 hours.<br \/>\n<strong>Red Layer<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Blend the strawberries in a small food processor.
